Limerick Translation Competition

Limerick Translation Competition is traditionally held at our school in February. This year it took place on February 15. The students of Year 5,  6, 7 and 8 competed in different nominations.


The jury chose the best  translations and illustrations. But all the participants enjoyed the event and now we are looking forward to the next year competition! 
Our team of the best translators, illustrators and performers with their teachers.

St Valentine's Day Celebration

On February 14 we usually have  a big exhibition of Valentine cards, Valentine post  and  some Valentine  quizzes  for the students.

Twin School for 2012

We are so excited to be introduced  a Twin for 2012  school partner and to get a greeting letter from  Elizabeth Conway, the deputy headteacher of Southlands, inTynemouth, on the North East coast of England.

Students' Conference "Across Britain"



The students and teachers are   extremely happy to be accepted to Connecting Classrooms project.
 As a part of this project we held our annual Students’ Conference “Across Britain” on December 16, 2011. The topics for the discussion were:
  “Geography and Climate of the United Kingdom” (Year 9a, teacher: Svetlana Trotsenko)
 "Sightseeing Tour around London” (Year 8a, teacher: Daria  Kurilenko)

"Welcome to the UK Capitals” (Year 8b, teacher: Daria  Kurilenko)

 
 “Holidays and Celebrations in Great Britain” (Year 5, teacher: Ksenia Chernaya)

 
 “The Best Way to Travel in and around London” (Year 6a, teacher: Larysa Stepanenko)



   “ Outstanding British Writers” (Year 7b, teacher: Larysa Stepanenko)



The jury was headed by the director of charity organization Natalia Kucherenko and assistant principle Natalia Chekerdes who presented certificates and souvenirs to all the participants.
