As we live in Sevastopol, the town
which is famous for its historical places all around the world, we have chosen Heritage is Great project.
We have already explored some British historical attractions, gone on virtual excursions to the three of the top five museums and galleries in the world and learnt a lot of interesting facts from the British history. But there is much more to be discovered.
So the students of Year 5 a (teacher Shurupov V.V.), Year 7a and 8b (teacher Stepanenko L.Yu) and Year 9a (teacher Kurilenko D.A.) joined into groups to get to know more about British heritage and find out the connections between British and Ukrainian heritages.
We have a lot ot be proud of!
You can see these menhirs not far from our native town Sevastopol!
The students are making their group reseaches as a part of the GREAT is Great Britain project and are going to present them in our blog Connecting Classrooms Project Diary and at our annual school conference
" Across Britain".
